Love, Public Servant, your couplet,

"Democracy’s not a game for the bold to twist,

But a fragile garden tendrils must resist."

Love it for the biological metaphors. Pasternak's earliest poetry relied lovingly on biology. Many others of my favorite poets, from many languages, also traveled there.

Professor Krugman has blossomed into a potent voice, speaking truth to power. This has been especially true after leaving the constraints placed on him by the "billionaire-biased" New York Times. I encourage everyone to READ what Paul Krugman has to say, EVERY day.

And I thank YOU, for your thoughtful poem!

His gentle style belies his cold hard facts. I am in awe of his grasp of today’s realities. Paul, you represent what’s best in public discourse.

Professor Krugman does what many of my favorite teachers do, provide clarity and understanding to what lesser teachers complicate leading their students to give up feeling overwhelmed and stupid. Cryptocurrency is a good example.
