Wow, that’s amazing…really! A true Anthem we can march to. Thank you for your awesome contribution of joy! ✊🏻🌹🇺🇸

Fantastic, this should be played like a modern day fife and drum that proceeded troops.. a real anthem for today’s America!

Make a marching band version, arranged for its instruments. Some Friday night football game's halftime show might go viral by designing a formation of a crown crossed out.

I like your idea! Drum and fife on Pennsylvania Avenue 🪈🥁💂‍♂️🎖️

Schools can't play it. They would risk the wrath. Fear is holding orgs, non-profits, museums. His retribution is real, dangerous, and so harmful esp to children. Schools should always put kids above politics and let us do the dirty work. HOWEVER. There are LGBT marching bands all across the country! Grab you high school flute and join them! Someone in the national over umbrella might even be able to "sousa-ize" it. Add a Tuba and piccolo! Lol

Strength in numbers.

We used to be afraid to mention marijuana and that worked. We kept our mouth shut until the gay guys spoke for their brothers. People needed the medicine of marijuana against their cancer and their chemotherapy pain, and nausea

It was their voice that brought us out of that particular situation.

What will bring us out of this one.

Let’s role. I think we should dance during The No Kings protest

Annie D Stratton's avatar

Sorry to disagree, but there's danger in that. Dancing creates random movement that increases risk of accidents. It also creates opportunity for sabotage (which is why we teach people to stay still when a conflict breaks out). Also, our demonstrations now are being taken very seriously by the T admin and by other agencies. The less confusing our actions, the less likely we are to be considered a threat. That is becoming more and more important. Singing can amplify our message. Dancing can obscure it.

The animal costumes work well. lol We can "take back' YMCA? Add a little "We are Family."

I hate to disagree, but want to suggest that we keep it as simple as possible, make it easy for PEOPLE's to sing, and their voices to be heard. There's an important message here, and it's our voices that are important. No doubt there'll be many different versions, and that's all fine. But I'd hate for that very basic and critical element to get lost in overly complex presentations.

It could be played on speaker while silent protestors stand quiet…..🤐

I totally agree with you. Thank you. I never thought about that💙

Wonderful! Can you print lyrics so my group can learn it?

It’s in the link at the bottom of the post!

Submit this to Indivisible, the group who organizes this protests. They can distribute to their organizers in various cities and states. Everyone can march to it.

I love this amazing anthem of The People! Would you mind terribly of I was able to use this music over clips of some No Kings Protests? I have some creators and Vets I want to reach out to about getting their footage if they want to be in there

Please use it any way you want, would appreciate any attribution or upgrades!

That's a great song for the new revolution. Do I dare use the *R* word?

Dahlia, SM's avatar

Are you talking about Regressive taxes?

How about the fact that we are a Republic? governed by the people.

This is our home court. They are the revolutionaries. Don’t agree in advance.
