Thank you, Public Servant. A wonderful poem for a brave and steadfast woman. I have such admiration for Congresswoman Omar. As she has said, she survived war in her home country of Somalia and she will survive this, but it still pisses me off that she has to endure Dump’s and Maga’s egregious daily lies and hateful threats. One day, Dump will be held accountable.
Please know that with my comment I do not lessen in any way the tremendous contribution you are making with the risks you are taking here. I do think, however, that it helps in this case to see both sides, the other being a man with depression and Parkinson's, whose mental health history is one of poor health. I am not excusing his behavior. I am attempting to be an observer. NO member of our government, no citizen, deserves to be attacked for speaking freely. Period. There are, simply, two sides to stories. Thank you.
How accurate & true that poem speaks truth to power! She is the mighty defender of all we love … the brave voice of a strong & intelligent sister
One who is making sure Democracy rises up again. Who is going to be the one they always describe when they say, in a crisis, find the Helper…there are always those Who Lead with a strong clear message of what to do, where to go, when to continue .. . She is not afraid …she will stand before the coward who attacks her & say, Don’t waste our time… Get out of here because we will
