If Dems have testicular fortitude if they ever regain power...they will dismantle ICE.....send it to the scrap help. Ya know, just the way DOGE destroyed the Federal government.

My America is colorful, and it speaks many languages. Throw away maga and White House terrorists. They are a shame on our nation.

A JUDGMENT FAIR

THE SUPREME COURT’S STATED MISSION

IS RESOLVING TRIBAL FIGHTS,

WHEN OPPONENTS RISK SEDITION

WHILE INSISTING EACH IS RIGHT.

AND NOW WE WATCH AS TRUMP AND MUSK

GRAB ALL THE MEANS WITHIN THEIR REACH

AS IN A BATTLE, TUSK TO TUSK,

THEY CALL EACH OTHER LYING CHEATS,

WHICH, IF THE COURT TOOK AS A NUDGE

TO REGAIN MUCH LOST RESPECT,

IT SOLOMONICALLY SHOULD JUDGE

THAT BOTH CONTESTANTS ARE CORRECT.

When the empire sends stormtroopers after abuelas and poets, it’s not law enforcement. It’s spiritual decay with a badge. This poem sings what every sacred scroll should have said by now: the kingdom doesn’t belong to the pureblooded, it belongs to the patchwork.

Deport the bigots. Keep the drummers, the sari-flag bearers, the mural-painters, the grandmothers handing out water like Eucharist. LA isn’t under siege. It’s being reborn in defiance, one chant at a time.

Let the fascists tremble. We’re not melting pots. We’re pressure cookers with rhythm.

I have a Liguistics education. May I offer a small tweak?........Stanza 1 says "flag unravelled." That means frayed and coming apart, so I suggest "unfurled." It paints a picture of the intact flag made of many threads is unwrapped from storage and flying freely. Plus, it has sort of rhymes/resonates with a word a few lines later.
