Introducing Public Servant - an anonymous government worker who is resisting Trump, DOGE, and fascism from the inside

Greetings, my fellow Americans.

I am a public servant who has served in the federal government for several decades. Like many of you, I was shocked and saddened by the election results. My career is now in danger from Trump, DOGE, and fascism. Our sacred Democracy is under threat from Project 2025. I am determined to resist and fight MAGA from within the government. When we fight, we win!

That is why I started this Substack and named it Democracy Defender. My goal is to blow the whistle here when I encounter fascism in any form. I will serve as your mole and canary in the coal mine. My writing will also highlight the best public servants and attack those who seek to undermine our work. I cannot speak for all of my colleagues, but I hope it gives you optimism that many patriots like me will be pushing back against Trump while serving you - the American people. Join me in defending our rights and our progress against fascism, racism, and homophobia. We are not going back!
