My Fellow Democracy Defenders,
I am mourning for Joe Biden and his family. He is the greatest president of my lifetime. My partner and I were honored to serve him as our commander in chief. Now he has been diagnosed with cancer.
This week, the corporate media will amplify lies about his mental condition. When we worked under him, he was sharp as a tack. Shame on Jake Tapper. Biden was a steady leader. Trump is the senile fascist!
In honor of President Biden, I have written a poem about his brave defense of democracy
Ode to the Stalwart Defender
Through storms of doubt and tempests loud,
He stands where freedom’s pillars stood,
A sentinel of truth and light,
A voice that won’t be silenced, right.
With hands once worn by time’s slow march,
He guards the pact that binds our land—
Not for the crown, but for the crowd,
The silent souls who dare to stand.
When shadows crept through sacred halls,
And lies were draped in borrowed gowns,
He rose, a beacon through the walls,
A shield against the raging towns.
No crown of gold, no fleeting fame,
But steadfast heart, a leader’s call—
He fights not for the spotlight’s flame,
But for the dream that none can stall.
Through every trial, every test,
He walks the path where courage dwells,
A guardian of what’s most blessed:
The right to vote, to speak, to feel.
President Biden, brave and boundless,
In you, democracy finds its song—
A melody of hope, unbound,
That whispers, “We will stand, we belong.”
So let the world behold his creed:
In unity, the strong are fed.
For though the road may twist and bleed,
The people’s voice will never be led.
Thank you. I am moved by your words of tribute to a great president. I agree, he was the best president of my lifetime. I'm 73 years old and have experienced many presidents, but none as empathetic and competent to lead the country. It saddens me that he doesn't get the praise he deserves. I miss him.
This is a beautiful tribute to a great man! Thank you for sharing this!
