“Let her name echo, a mournful, solemn sound,

A rallying cry against the coming wrong,

May justice bloom from this unhallowed ground,

And make her vision for the future, strong.”

Beautiful, Public Servant. Blessings and thanks. 💙

The 1970 Spring UC Berkley campus demonstration against the Viet Nam war was chants and speeches and signs until the National or State Guard arrived. They came off a bus with billy clubs raised (to my memory). Maybe unintentionally, they were the instigators of violence. Anyone else remember that? If they had the weapons ICE has today, I can't imagine the carnage.
