Anthony Fauci is the Greatest Public Servant in a Generation
Why Anthony Fauci is a hero and one of the best civil service leaders in history
My Fellow Americans,
Dr. Anthony Fauci is one of the most heroic public servants in history.
Dr. Fauci saved millions of lives during the COVID pandemic. He stood strong against attacks from anti-science MAGAts who would rather die than take life-saving COVID vaccines. Fauci led with compassion and calm, showing us the best ways to mask and social distance. He deserves all the medals and honors he receives. His wife is also a public servant who has worked for decades at the NIH. I have met both of them and they are a wonderful couple. We must trust experts and follow the science! Thanks to them, other public servants like me stayed safe working from home.
Biden should give preemptive pardons to Fauci and
to protect them from Trump’s fascist MAGA attacks!REMINDER: I am a government worker writing anonymously because I fear retribution. Your support will give me courage to speak truth to power. If I lose my civil service career because of Trump’s fascism and DOGE, any income from Substack will help me support my partner, our children, and our adorable cats.
I hope Dr. Fauci is honored with a statue in our National Mall. He served our county admirably for decades. Here are all the reasons why he deserves our eternal gratitude.
HIV/AIDS Research and Advocacy: In the 1980s, Fauci was a leading researcher in the fight against HIV/AIDS, a disease that was then poorly understood and highly stigmatized. He worked closely with activists, patients, and other scientists to develop effective treatments and raise awareness about the disease. His efforts helped to shift the national conversation around HIV/AIDS, reducing stigma and promoting a more compassionate response to those affected.
Development of Life-Saving Treatments: Fauci played a crucial role in the development of antiretroviral therapies (ART) for HIV/AIDS. These treatments have transformed the disease from a death sentence to a manageable condition, saving countless lives worldwide.
Leadership during the COVID-19 Pandemic: As the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Fauci has been a trusted advisor to the US government on infectious disease policy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he has provided clear, evidence-based guidance to policymakers, healthcare professionals, and the public. His leadership has helped to inform the national response to the pandemic and mitigate its impact.
Science-Based Communication: Fauci has been an effective communicator of complex scientific information to the general public. He has used his platform to counter misinformation, promote vaccine confidence, and explain the importance of public health measures like social distancing and mask-wearing.
Dedication to Public Service: Fauci has dedicated his career to public service, working in government for over 50 years. He has served under six US presidents, demonstrating his commitment to the health and well-being of the American people.
Moral Courage: Fauci has shown remarkable moral courage in the face of adversity. He has been willing to speak truth to power, even when it's unpopular or challenging. For example, he has publicly disagreed with the Trump administration on issues like mask mandates and vaccine distribution.
Inspiration to Future Generations: Fauci's work has inspired a new generation of scientists, researchers, and public health professionals. He has demonstrated the importance of science, compassion, and public service in addressing some of humanity's most pressing health challenges.
Can you imagine Dr. Fauci being arrested?!! Well, I can. RFK, Jr. is after him -- and so are all of the maggots. I know. I'm related to one who thinks that Dr. Fauci is a criminal. This country has become so sick that I don't even recognize it any more.
Dr Fauci is totally amazing. I am in awe of him.
