Alexander Vindman for Senate!
A poem for the brave whistleblower who is running to replace Rubio in Florida
My Fellow Democracy Defenders,
Alexander Vindman is a patriot fighting fascism around the world. As a boy, he fled Ukraine and found freedom in America. As a soldier, he won a purple heart. As a public servant, he stood as a brave whistleblower against Trump. Now he is running for Senate in Florida to replace Rubio. I have written a poem for him, inspired by his bravery. Slava Ukraini!
Ode to Vindman: Sentinel of the Republic
In halls where power often hides its schemes,
A soldier rose unshaken by dark dreams.
Alexander Vindman, steadfast, keen, and bright,
Stood guard for truth against encroaching night.
A son of refugees, who fled oppression’s chain,
He swore to serve a nation built on pain
Of tyrants toppled. Honor forged his creed,
When whispers of corruption sowed a toxic seed.
That fateful call—a president’s demand,
A quid pro quo plotted far from land.
Yet Vindman heard. His conscience, sharp and clear,
Refused to let democracy disappear.
He spoke! A whistleblower, bold and lone,
Though threatened, scorned, and pushed from his throne
On National Security’s sacred stage.
He faced the storm, undaunted by rage.
Before the Senate, eyes fixed firm and wide,
He held the mirror, let the truth reside.
“No higher duty,” he declared with grace,
“Than shield the Republic from autocracy’s embrace.”
They mocked his loyalty; they scorned his name,
But integrity ignited freedom’s flame.
When Trump’s strongman tactics sought to bend,
Vindman refused—democracy to defend.
Now, onward! He steps onto a broader stage,
A Senate candidate, turning history’s page.
No fascist whisper shall dim his fight;
He’ll champion the vulnerable, restore the right.
For every citizen who fears the creeping dread,
For every vote that honors what our forebears said,
Alexander Vindman marches, shield in hand,
To guard the soul of this beloved land.
Brave defender! Whistleblower! Patriot true,
We stand with you. May justice bloom anew.

Great poem and tribute to a true American patriot!
Agree he would be a great Senator. Thank you for this tribute to him!
